We had a lovely weekend at Ardbank Cottage. It literally has everything needed.

Had a lovely winter stay. Cottage was warm and welcoming with lots of touches that made us feel at home. Would love to stay again in the future.
What a wonderful cottage! Having stayed in several properties in Staithes we can say that Ardbank is the most spacious, cosy and characterful one. From a well equipped kitchen with its own large table and snug....upstairs to another (!) living area with comfy sofa and open fire...and then three cosy bedrooms on the upper level with amazing bedding that enabled us to have a great nights sleep! Having the main bathroom on the first floor and a separate WC on the top floor next to bedrooms was great! The cottage is tastefully decorated with subtle nods to Staithes and its coastal vibe...even the kiddies book nook had lovely books related to nature and sealife. We absolutely loved our stay and are planning when to return.
We loved the Ardbank cottage so much we are already talking about returning. The location and surroundings are a dream and the cottage itself has everything and more. Emma the owner has been extremely friendly, helpful and professional and we have made some special memories I will treasure forever! I had the most wonderful stay at Ardbank Cottage! From the moment I arrived, it felt like a real home from home - cosy, spotless, and full of character. The cottage has been beautifully restored, keeping all the charm of an old Staithes home but with every modern comfort you could need.
The location couldn’t be better - tucked away in a peaceful spot but just a short stroll to the harbour, beach, and the lovely little pubs and cafés in the village. Having parking right outside was a real bonus too (a rare luxury in Staithes!).
The cottage itself is so well equipped - comfy beds, great WiFi, and thoughtful touches everywhere.
I came away from Ardbank Cottage feeling completely relaxed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect coastal getaway in Staithes.
